Q: Where can I make a feature request or leave feedback?

A: The best way to make sure we get your feedback or requests is to email us directly. If you have a request for any features you'd like to see offered in a future update please email us here.

Using the Simple Soiree Invite Feature

Q: How does the Invite feature work? How do I get RSVP's?

A: When you send out an invite using Simple-Soiree, it emails your guests and creates a Web Page that each guest can RSVP to including the number of guests. To see if anyone has replied, just press the green sync button in the Simple-Soiree app. It can be found on the "My Parties" page and the "My Guests" page. If a guest chooses to reply to your email rather than use the RSVP link, you can manually move the guest slider to the proper RSVP and change the number of guests.

Q: How can I send an invitation to one (or a few) person(s) only?

A: If you've already sent your invite out to others, Simple Soirée will automatically ask you to send out a new invite whenever you add a new guest or change their email address. If you haven't sent out an invite and only want to send it to one or a few different people, change the RSVP slider of those guests to a unique status (YES, NO or MAYBE) and only send invites to people with that status.

 

Using the Simple Soiree App

Q: Why doesn't number the guest total at the bottom match the number of guests that I have on my list?

A: Everytime you add a guest's name to your list, this counts as one guest. If you increase the "+ Guest" field (the gray box) to "+1, +2, etc., this counts as "additional guests". For example, a +2 in this column equals three guests; the person's name plus two additional guests.

Q: How do I delete someone from my Guest List?

A: On the guests page, simply press the Edit button on the upper left. Then press the red circle next to the guest you wish to delete and press the Delete button that appears on the right.

Q: How do I copy a party from the Lite Version to the Full Version?

A: Unfortunately data is not interchangable between the two programs. But since the lite version has a limit of only one event and five items per list, we hope it shouldn't take too long to re-enter information into the full version. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

Q: All my Lists were erased after a restore!

A: ANY iPhone Application will lose it's data if it is deleted from the device. The iPhone will warn you of this before you delete it. A restore from iTunes will only restore the app, not the contents.

Q: Is the information I enter into the app backed up somewhere?

A: Yes. Like with all other apps, depending on your settings, iTunes backs up your data automatically every time you connect your iPhone/iPod Touch to your computer. You won't lose your data on the device unless you manually delete the app. As with all other apps, the iPhone/iPod Touch will warn you that this procedure will delete all of the app's data.

Q: Will updates be Free?

A: Yes, updates are free. You will be notified by iTunes (on your computer) and the App Store (on your device) when one is available.

Q: Can I print mailing labels directly from the App?

A: Not directly. The best way to use Liza's Simple Soirée Party Planner to print mailing labels is to use the "Email All Lists" feature. You will receive an email with all the addresses of your invitees which you can copy and paste into any other software you would use to print labels.

Stationery

Q: Is the stationery designed to be used with your App?

A: Our stationery compliments the iPhone/iPod Touch app quite well, but customers who don't have an Apple device use the stationery all by itself to plan and organize their parties.

Q: How can I print my lists from the app to the stationery?

A: The app contains an option to print to a PDF document, which is formatted to print on Liza's Simple Soirée Party Planner™ stationery ONLY. You MUST choose LEGAL SIZE PAPER in your Print settings in order to print correctly on the stationery. We also recommend that you do a test print on plain paper if you're unsure of the proper direction to feed the paper.
